Tracks in the Open Forum on Metadata Registries

During the Open Forum you can "build your own Track." The Tracks are intended to show how metadata registries are used for various subject areas. The Tracks also will inform participants how government agencies and private organizations intend to work among themselves and with each other in the use of metadata registries.

The presentations are only loosely organized into tracks. Many of the presentation topics are relevant to more than one Track. Participants may create their own subject area "Track" by selecting from among the presentations shown in the agenda. There is time during the breaks to switch rooms as participants may desire.

The following are descriptions of the Tracks that participants may want to attend:

Standards, Technologies, and Tutorials Track

Defense Track

E-Business, E-Commerce, E-Government Track

Environment Track

Healthcare and Bioinformatics Track

Knowledge Management & Learning Technology Track

Statistics Track

Terminology and Ontologies Track

Transportation, aviation and Aerospace Track
